This is a custom designed Katar I made for Volknochi [link] as a gift for Azaru [link] . the design was from all three of us, as a collaborated effort. This was a pretty new style for me but it was fun to make.
blade is 3" wide and 10" long i forget the overall length.

The blade is stainless steel. black leather wrapping, and bracelet. lots of hours in this one. mainly because it was a new style for me. it turned out really nice i think. it's well ballanced. pollished to a mirror finish. blade is really smooth. this was hard to get pictures of because of the mirror finish. the blade is reflecting the ceiling. haha.

Whoo, first post! Heh, the pictures don't do this thing justice. It is truly a work of art that has to be seen in person to appreciate the level of craftsmanship put into this. I was so glad that I came up there to pick it up and see it with my own eyes. And, I can tell you without a doubt that Aza loves it.

Be on the ready...I hear that this blade has garnered the attention of others who are thinking of commissioning you. ;) Can you say "The way of the samurai" ? ^_^

with the crazy prices of supplies right now, and the difficulty of the blade design it would be around 200. dollars starting price. if you had an exact design you wanted i could be more accurate. less of a finish would be a little less too. it really all depends on what you want. Thank you for your interest.

well... it really look like this one, but with some little modifications, things like color, details and shape...

but its ok, its just to me to have an idea of prices... thank you too
